FULL DRIVERS EDUCATION COURSE

Dear Parent/Student:

Thank you for your interest in our Full Driver Education Program. Our objective is to fulfill the standards set by the State of Connecticut. This program consists of 28 hours of classroom instruction, 2hour parent/student session, and 8 hours of behind the wheel instruction. By taking this course, students may apply for their license 4 months from their permit date, which can be recognized for an insurance discount. Students will receive the State of Connecticut Drivers Education Certificate upon completion of course.

Online Classroom Instruction: Classroom instruction will begin once students are registered and are 16 years of age. There are only 4 components to each chapter. Reading, short films, quiz, and sign off portion for each chapter. Students can complete one chapter a day if it’s a regular school day. If there is no school (weekends-holiday’s) they can do more than one chapter. All classes must be completed before scheduling 8 hours of behind the wheel training.
